Sgt. Grit: This is in reply to the phonetic alphabet notes in your last two news-letters:

I was a radio operator during the period 1942 - 1946. Following are two lists. The first was the one in use when we left the states and the second was the one we had to know before we arrived in New Zealand, 12 days later. The asterisks (*) in the first list indicate the 10 changes made at that time.
